Denmark - New agreement for hotels and restaurants - March 31, 2025

A collective agreement has been reached for around 70,000 employees in the hotel and restaurant industry. The new agreement is intended to give more young people the opportunity to take a job in the hotel and restaurant industry. In addition, the minimum wage will be increased as a result of the new agreement. The parties have agreed on an increase of 10.75 kroner (€ 1.44) per hour in the period until 2027. The minimum wage increases by 3.75 kroner (€ 0.50) per hour in 2025 and 3.5 kroner (€ 0.47) per hour in both 2026 and 2027.
