Employees at Sephora cosmetics stores can look forward to better pay and working conditions as a result of a new collective agreement that covers all of the chain's stores. For a number of years, trade union HK Handel has focused on obtaining a collective agreement in Sephora. It was finally successful when the so-called 50% rule was met in one of the stores. The rule states, in broad terms, that a demand for a collective agreement can be raised when at least half of the employees are members of HK, and when the company is a member of an employers' association.
