After 14 hours of negotiations, the union FOA reached an agreement with employers’ organisation DI for privately employed teaching assistants and pedagogical assistants. The agreement provides a total salary increase of just over 3,000 kroner (€ 402) per month. The agreement covers teaching assistants and pedagogical assistants who are employed in private day care institutions that are members of DI. Pension contributions and the voluntary account are being increased. With the renewal of the collective agreement, occupational health and safety representatives who are members of FOA now receive an annual supplement of DKK 9,000 (€ 1,206) per year.
