The average monthly net salary for June was € 1,444, according to data from the Croatian Bureau of Statistics (DZS). Compared to the same month last year, this represents a nominal increase of 9.8% and a real rise of 5.9%. On a monthly basis, however, salaries slipped slightly, with June’s figure being 0.5% lower in nominal terms and 0.7% lower in real terms compared to May. When looking at gross salaries, the average for June was € 2,008, down 0.5% compared to May. On an annual level, gross pay rose by 10.4% nominally and 6.5% in real terms.
