Trade unions KNSB and KT Podkrepa announced a warning protest to be held on 31 October ahead of the meeting of the National Council for Tripartite Cooperation (НСТС). The unions oppose the Government’s plan to set the minimum wage from 1 January 2026 at €605, instead of the legally-defined 50% of average wage (€620). They claim the reduction breaches the labour code and reflects a lack of coherent income-policy.
