Belgium - Trade-union action day - September 30, 2025

On 24 September, a trade‑union action day is called by the FGTB and CSC unions, with a rally in Namur, aimed at pushing against the social and employment policies of the Walloon Government and the French‑speaking community. Participating unions warn that in many sectors, absences may be recorded, and that the day counts as non‑paid strike days. The move signals growing frustration with the social dialogue process.
