Belgium - Hospital nurses strike - September 30, 2025

In Brussels, nurses at a public hospital began a strike on 4 September to press demands for better pay and working conditions. The unions cite understaffing, burnout, and pay stagnation as mounting issues. The hospital management responded that they are open for dialogue but point to tight budgetary constraints. If no solution is found soon, broader action in the healthcare sector may follow.
