Austria - Railway negotiations stalled - September 30, 2025

The first round of collective bargaining for the railway sector ended without agreement. Vida union objected proposals that would only compensate inflation up to a gross income ceiling of €3,300. The union insisted that real wage cuts are unacceptable, especially given extensive overtime and unclaimed vacation in the sector.
