The chief of the central bank warned that the upcoming autumn wage round will demand “innovative solutions” given persistent inflation and flagging productivity. He noted there is no one-size-fits-all remedy and urged social partners to balance competitiveness with protection of wage‑earners. The wage negotiations officially begin September 22, with the metal sector again taking center stage.
