After four intensive rounds of negotiations, the trade union vida and the Railway Association in the Federal Economic Chamber (WKÖ) have agreed on a collective agreement for around 55,000 railway employees. The new rail collective agreement brings a wage increase of 3% (maximum €150), higher bonuses and more vacation days. The new agreement fully compensates for the rolling inflation of 3%. This ensures the purchasing power of railway workers. In addition, improvements were made to Sunday and holiday services.
