In the third collective bargaining round for the approximately 50,000 employees in the chemical industry, an agreement was reached after 13 hours of negotiations. Wages and salaries will increase by 2.65%, with a minimum increase of € 80 and a maximum increase of € 113, effective 1 May 2025. Salaries for the top employment groups V to VI will be raised by a fixed amount of € 60. Wages of apprentices will increase by 2.65%.
