The union GPA and representatives of the Federal Guild of Arts and Crafts, the professional branch of commercial bookbinders, cardboard goods, and case manufacturers, reached a new collective agreement for the approximately 1,500 employees in the industry. Wages will increase by 3.9%. The allowances for apprentices and night shift allowances will also increase by 3.9%. The increases took effect on 1 April 2025. The new wage scales will be valid for 12 months.
