Austria - 2% wage increase in metal sector - September 30, 2025

On 22 September, the unions PRO‑GE and GPA reached an agreement with six employer associations in the metal industry: wages, salaries, and apprentice incomes will rise by 2% from 1 November 2025. Real incomes are projected to increase by 1.41%, with two purchasing‑power bonuses included. The agreement aims to avoid a zero‑wage round in a difficult economic climate.
