Employees of the AEAT tax agency have mobilised once again, demanding improvements to pay and conditions and fair salaries. The unions, including UGT-SP and FSC-CCOO, organised protests across the country denouncing the stagnation in professional career advancement in the agency and the failure of the AEAT to negotiate a new collective agreement. Despite previous assurances, lack of engagement with worker representatives from the AEAT's leadership has deepened the organisational crisis. Two disputes have been declared since 2022, leading to widespread mobilisations. The unions have outlined plans to extend mobilisation if negotiations remain stalled.
