Spain - Strike in health transport sector called off after agreement - October 31, 2024

A collective agreement for the health transport sector has been reached with the employers' associations SIMA, meaning that the strike scheduled to begin on 28 October has been called off. The agreement reached at the SIMA headquarters, which is conditional on the signing of the state sectoral collective agreement currently being negotiated, contemplates the request to the competent administration to initiate the procedure established to implement the system of reduction coefficients at the retirement age in accordance with the provisions of current regulations.
