Slovenia - Increase of statutory minimum wage by 4.2% - January 31, 2024

According to the Minimum Wage Act (ZminP), once a year the minimum wage is adjusted at least with the growth in consumer prices. Accordingly, after prior consultation with all key stakeholders, the Minister of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities decided to increase the statutory minimum wage by 4.2%. Compared to the monthly minimum wage in 2023, which was € 1,203.36 gross, the new minimum wage will be € 50.54 higher. The new minimum wage will thus amount to € 1,253.90 gross.
