Wages in November 2023 rose in all 10 sectors monitored monthly, and for a second month they were also higher in real terms than the growth of inflation. Its highest growth of over 15% was recorded in food and beverage services where wages reached € 732. Wages in the following sectors saw a double-digit increase: construction reaching an average wage of € 1,138 , industry reaching € 1,891, transportation and storage with in increase to € 1,484, and retail to € 1,177. Real wages grew strongest in food and beverage services (8.4%).
