According to the statistics office, the average net monthly wage rose by a real 8.7% on the year to 98,538 dinars (€ 842) in October, after increasing by an annual 8.4% in the prior month. On a monthly basis, the average net wage rose by 1.9% in real terms in October, after declining by 0.7% in September. In October, the average monthly net wage in the public sector stood at 100,912 dinars (€ 863), while in the non-public sector it amounted to 97,581 dinars (€ 834). In the first ten months of 2024, the net wage in Serbia rose by a real 9.3% year-on-year.
