According to the statistics office, average net monthly wage increased by a real 8.4% year-on-year to 96,115 dinars (€ 822) in September, after rising by an annual 7.6% in August. On a monthly basis, however, the average net wage declined by 0.7% in real terms in September, after decreasing by 1.6% the month before. In September, the average monthly net wage in the public sector was 99,363 dinars (€ 850), while in the non-public sector it stood at 94,803 dinars (€ 811).
