Norway - Wage increase for rescue workers - October 31, 2024

Recent negotiations have resulted in notable wage increases and updated agreements for public service workers in the Rescue Company. For Norway’s Rescue Company, represented by Delta and NHO Sjøfart, an agreement reached prevented a potential strike. All Rescue Company workers, including seamen and support staff, will receive a general wage increase of 3.8% from 1 April 2024. The subsistence allowance will also increase, and three existing collective agreements will be merged, ensuring unified representation and enhancing Delta’s bargaining rights for future negotiations.
