According to the union confederation LO, the irregularities in the process that led up to the breach in the IA (inclusive working life) negotiations are a major breach of trust, therefore LO breaks the relationship with the employer side. The union says it had experienced a fraudulent process both during the negotiations themselves and afterwards. It is considered a gross breach of trust and LO is therefore temporarily breaking off cooperation with the employers. The negotiations on a new agreement for an inclusive working life broke down on 4 December, due to the employers’ association NHO’s demands not to protect the sick pay scheme. According to LO, NHO attempts to exclude LO from the processes at the end of the negotiations.
