A negotiation result has been reached for the collective agreement Forest and Nature for a period of two years. Union FNV had set an ultimatum, and it seemed that for the first time in the history of the sector there would be strike action. The ultimatum expired on 21 October. As a result, the employers were prepared to further negotiations and came with a more favourable offer, which was accepted by the unions. The result includes a 8.5% wage increase in two years: 4.5% in November 2024 and 4% in November 2025. In addition, there will be a one-off payment of € 100. There will also be an increase in the compensation for travel expenses and the home office allowance.
