Netherlands - New agreement for banking sector - December 31, 2024

The unions and the employers reached a new agreement for the banking sector. The collective agreement includes 24 medium-sized and small banks. Employees will receive a 8.5% pay increase over two years. There will be a one-off payment of € 500. The minimum wage will increase to € 16 per hour. Everyone can use one extra day off for social goals. There will be full reimbursement for travel by public transport. In addition, there is a minimum reimbursement for travel by car or bicycle.
