The pharmacy strikes in the week of Christmas may not continue. That is the verdict of the judge in summary proceedings brought by the employers' association of public pharmacies. Trade unions FNV and CNV announced that pharmacy employees would be on strike on 23, 24 and 27 December. According to the unions, they had made very clear agreements about the guarantee of emergency care for patients, but according to the judge the strike would pose a risk to public health. The FNV will study the final verdict and then determine whether it gives grounds for an appeal.
