Union FNV and Schiphol airport reached an agreement in principle on a new collective agreement. It took effect on 1 October this year and will run until 30 September 2026. All employees will benefit by more than 5% per year during that period. On 1 November 2024, all employees will receive a one-off gross payment of € 750. Subsequently, the salary will be increased by 5% on 1 January 2025, and again by 5% on 1 January 2026. In addition to the pay raise, there is also attention for the working conditions of the employees, and the roster allowance and the on-call allowance are going up. As of 1 October 2024, the travel allowance will increase to € 0.23 per kilometer, and the maximum number of kilometers for a single trip will increase from 50 to 75 kilometers.
