Netherlands - 7% wage increase for private security staff - October 31, 2024

Employees in private security will get a new collective agreement. After intensive talks, which started in February, union FNV agreed on, among other things, a wage increase of 4.5% in 2025 and at least 2.5% in 2026. Depending on inflation, the 2.5% wage increase could increase to a maximum of 5% in 2026. The mileage allowance for travel expenses will also increase from € 0.18 to € 0.23 per kilometer. The members of the FNV will vote on this result in the coming weeks. If they agree, they will get a collective agreement that runs from 18 December 2024, to 31 December 2026.
