Employees who are involved in handling air freight (cargo) will on average get a pay increase of more than 10% in the coming two years. This is stated in the collective agreement between the union FNV and the employers. The new collective agreement will apply to all companies in the sector, which will equalize the terms of employment for the entire sector. The new collective agreement will apply for two years, starting on 1 January 2025. Every employee will get a pay rise of at least 6% in the first year. In 2026, a further 2% wage increase has been agreed. Employees will also receive an end-of-year bonus of 2.5% in 2026. The fact that the collective agreement will apply to the entire sector, including all large air freight companies, is a milestone.
