Luxembourg - New collective agreement at supermarket chain - June 30, 2024

At the first social meeting, the management of the Leclerc supermarkets announced the signing of the first collective agreement of the group taking over 27 stores in the country this year. The approximately 520 ex-employees of the former Match and Courthéoux brands were contend upon discovering the content of the agreement reached, taking effect from 1 June 2024 until mid-2027. Furthermore, the negotiations made it possible to introduce into the collective agreement an article on the employees’ right to disconnect.
