Italy - Utility group signs agreement to combine growth and well-being - August 31, 2024

The 'good work pact' signed by the multi-utility group Hera (electricity, gas and water distribution and waste management), aims to guarantee a "just transition" through concrete initiatives in a number of areas. The agreement covers some 10,000 employees of the group, which operates mainly in central and northern Italy, and brings to a close eight months of complex negotiations between Hera and all the relevant branches of the Cgil, Cisl and Uil trade union centres.
