Findings from the Hungarian Central Statistical Office show a mixed picture of earnings among full-time employees. A striking disparity emerged: while 89.1% of full-time workers saw their earnings rise, nearly 60% experienced modest increases in wages between 5% and 24.9%. Notably, one in five workers enjoyed substantial increases of 25% or more, with an impressive one in twenty seeing their pay soar by 50% or more. However, despite these individual successes, the data also underscores a challenging reality for many, as 60% of workers faced a decline in real wages amid broader economic fluctuations.
