Germany - Up to 7% more pay at cash services - November 30, 2024

Union ver.di and the Federal Association of German Cash and Valuables Services (BDGW) have reached a collective agreement in the sixth round of negotiations. Over the next two years, employees will receive 5.4 to 7.12% more pay, depending on the federal state. In addition, the negotiating parties are replacing the attendance bonus, which can be reduced, with a fixed one-off payment. Within five years, all employees are to receive 30 days of vacation, and up to 32 days for those with longer service. The regulations for overtime are also to be standardized nationwide. Ver.di is now informing employees about the details of the agreement in the companies. The member survey on the acceptance of the negotiation result will start on 2 December 2024.
