Negotiations for employees in the cash and valuables transport sector have been successfully concluded. The union ver.di and the Federal Association of German Cash and Valuables Services (BDGW) have agreed on a collective agreement for around 10,000 employees in the sector nationwide. From 2025, wages will rise by 6.5 to 8.4%, depending on the region. For example, from January 2025, employees in North Rhine-Westphalia will receive an hourly wage of € 21.85, in the new federal states € 19.22. Wages will continue to rise until 2026. There are also new rules for vacation and overtime. The strikes that were planned for December have been cancelled.
