Germany - 7.8% pay increase in printing industry - June 30, 2024

In the 6th bargaining round for employees in the printing industry, the union ver.di and the Federal Association of Printing and Media have agreed on a collective agreement. Wages and salaries will increase by a total of 7.8%. There was an increase of 3.9% on 1 July 2024, a further 2% on 1 July 2025, and another 1.9% on 1 March 2026. The agreement runs for 29 months until 31 July 2026. In no salary group will hourly wages be below € 13 per hour. The result will now be discussed in the striking and action companies until 19 July 2024, and ver.di members will be asked about the negotiation results.
