Germany - 6.5% higher pay for metalworkers and precision mechanics - June 30, 2024

The approximately 30,000 employees in the metal construction and precision engineering industry in Baden-Württemberg will get more money. From 1 January 2025, wages, salaries and training allowances will increase by 3.2% and from 1 July 2025 by a further 3.3%. In addition, employees will receive a one-off inflation compensation bonus of € 1,200. Part-time employees will receive the full inflation compensation bonus. Trainees and dual students will receive an inflation compensation of € 600. The collective agreement has a term of 24 months and is valid until the end of April 2026.
