EU Sources - Tool for safer workplaces - November 30, 2024

The ETUC introduces the Violentometer: a tool designed to help identify and address gender-based violence and harassment in the workplace. Violence and harassment often exist on a continuum, starting with biases or seemingly minor behaviours that, if left unchecked, can escalate into severe forms of misconduct, including sexual assault. Trade unions play a crucial role in combating gender-based violence in the world of work, advocating for stronger workplace policies, supporting victims and survivors, including domestic violence, and raising awareness to ensure that workplaces are free from discrimination and abuse.
