Delegations of the Estonian Trade Union Confederation and the Estonian Employers' Confederation met for the first time for talks on the minimum wage for 2025. No concrete figures were discussed at the meeting, and the negotiations will resume on 9 October. The situation and prospects of the economy and labour market were discussed at the meeting, based on the latest forecast by the central bank. The parties also talked about how to continue moving towards the target set in the goodwill agreement on the minimum wage last spring. The minimum wage this year is € 820 a month for full-time employees.
