According to a report published by the union confederation FH, meaningful work and inclusive work environments are a key priority for the Generation Z. They are concerned about financial uncertainty and stress, especially in relation to work-life balance and parenthood. The Generation Z was born in the latter half of the 1990s and in the 2000s. The report sheds light on Generation Z's entry into the labour market and their expectations and concerns. It shows that the young people are committed to their work, proud of their profession and want to do well. They are looking for meaningful work that contributes to their development and identity. An inclusive working environment, where they are involved in decisions and recognized for their efforts, is important to them. At the same time, many young people are worried about the working life of the future.
