The two main hotel trade unions, OUXEKA-SEK and SYXKA-PEO, announced plans for imminent strike action after negotiations reached an impasse. The unions noted that the mandatory 10-day notice period has already elapsed, having run concurrently with the mediation proposal submission period, as previously agreed. The leadership of both unions called on all hotel industry workers to participate in the upcoming actions once dates are set.
