According to the Croatian Bureau of Statistics, the average net monthly salary totalled € 1,322 in September, up 12.6% on the year in real terms. In August, the average net monthly salary was 13.8% higher year-on-year in real terms. On a monthly basis, the average net monthly wage in September declined by 0.6% in real terms, after it grew 0.7% in August. The average gross monthly salary was € 1,829 in September, up by a real 12.8% year-on-year and 0.9% lower month-on-month.
