On 17 December, the social partners concluded, within the framework of the National Labour Council (NAR), the collective agreement (CA) No. 32/8. This agreement adds a new chapter to the important CA No. 32 on the preservation of rights in the event of a transfer of undertaking. The CA will enter into force on 1 February 2025. During a transfer of undertaking by agreement, the employees concerned or their representatives may request that the transferor (former employer) communicates certain information to the identified transferee (new employer). The aim is to achieve a qualitative and efficient social dialogue. The CA is part of the broader NAR work on the framework for restructuring (collective redundancies and transfer of undertakings).
