Switzerland - Supermarket chain increases minimum wage - February 28, 2023

The negotiations for 2023 between trade union Syna and the Swiss Commercial Association and supermarket chain Lidl Switzerland were successfully concluded. The wage bill for employees will be increased by a total of 2.5% from March 2023. At the same time, Lidl Switzerland is significantly increasing its minimum wages, paying now the highest minimum wages in the sector.
