Romania - Miniumum wage increase - October 31, 2023

Starting from 1 November, employees in two categories will get a minimum wage of RON 4,500 (€ 906), the government announced. The government agreed with employers and unions in the Tripartite National Council on the new minimum wage in construction, agriculture and the food industry. The Council approved the increase of the minimum wage in construction and agriculture to RON 4,582 (€ 922), respectively RON 3,436 (€ 691).
