Poland - Wages increase 14.3% annually - June 30, 2023

The average monthly gross wage and salary in the first quarter of 2023 was PLN 7,124.26 (€ 1,602). Compared with the previous year, it increased nominally by 14.3%. This increase was higher than that recorded in the first quarter of 2022, when it amounted to 9.7%. The average monthly gross wage and salary increased in all sectors in comparison to the same period of the previous year. The highest nominal increase was recorded in the transportation and storage section (by 22.4%), while the lowest increase was in the construction section (by 7.6%).
