Poland - Extension of parental leave - February 28, 2023

With the law ‘amending the Labour Code and some other laws’ coming into force, both parents and caregivers will enjoy new rights. Worker protections will also be extended with the text notably granting additional work breaks and a right to paid training. The National Assembly overwhelmingly voted to adopt the legislation which transposes the European directives on transparent and predictable working conditions.
