Norway - Government restricts use of temporary work - February 28, 2023

With effect from 1 April 2023, companies in Norway will, in essence, only be able to hire staff through a temporary employment agency to replace one or more people on a temporary basis. The country's Working Environment Act also strengthens employees' rights. The aim is to promote "more permanent and direct employment between employer and employee".
