Liechtenstein - Union welcomes measures for work-family reconciliation - March 31, 2023

In a letter to the Government, the trade union LANV gives its view on the implementation of the EU Directive on the work-life balance. Thanks to the European trade unions, paid parental leave, paid paternity leave and other improvements in the compatibility of family and work are being introduced in Liechtenstein. The EU directive must be implemented into legislation by August 2024 at the latest. In a statement LANV discusses the various points of the government's consultation report.
