Liechtenstein - Equal Pay Day: small step forward - February 28, 2023

This year's Equal Pay Day falls on 20 February. This means that women have had to work until this day in order to earn the same annual salary that their male colleagues received until December 31, 2022. This year, Equal Pay Day is three days earlier than last year, since the pay gap has narrowed somewhat. The development of equal pay is only progressing in very small steps, but fundamentally in the right direction. Good interaction between politics, business and the various organizations is still needed so that the wage differences can be eradicated in a timely manner.
