Under an agreement signed by Fiom-Cgil, Fim-Cisl and UILM trade unions and the shipbulder Fincantieri group, the number of employees eligible for smart working will increase by 70%, while the number of days staff may work remotely will rise from four to eight per month. The agreement is part of the new organisational model introduced by the group, focusing on objective-based work and employee autonomy and empowerment. The agreement, valid from 1 September 2023 to 31 August 2024 and tacitly renewable, confirms the mechanism implemented after the pandemic, with significant improvements.
