Italy - Energy group signed two agreements with trade unions - February 28, 2023

Enel energy group has signed two agreements with the Filctem-Cgil, Flaei-Cisl and Uiltec trade unions. The first of those deals, applicable at group level, improves the parental leave policy, particularly as regards pay. The other agreement seeks to bolster staff numbers at Enel's electricity distribution subsidiary at a time when huge investments are planned in the electricity network. Under the agreement the paternity leave allowance for Enel staff will be doubled, compared to the 10 days required by law. From 1 January 2023, new fathers will be entitled to 20 days of leave.
