Full-time employees’ average gross earnings were HUF 557,900 (€ 1,471) in September 2023 and average net earnings with tax benefits reached HUF 384,900 (€ 1,015). Both, average gross and net earnings increased by 14.1%, while real earnings – for the first time since August 2022 - rose by 1.7%, compared with a year earlier.
